Summer doldrums

Mainly cloudy with a few sunny periods, 17°, fresh WSW.

Still fairly static out there today. Quite a few species seen carrying food today so quite a few active nests around.

2 Little Owl heard calling to each other as a Buzzard flew low overhead.

A light movement of Swift today with c100 flying south over a period of a couple of hours and a Kestrel hunting around the hill.

Dragonflies: a couple of Azure Damselfly.

Butterflies: very few out on the farmland with 1 Large White, 3 Meadow Brown and 2 Speckled Wood.

Yellowhammer
Reed Bunting
 Dunnock
Song Thrush
